Am soooo tired!
But feel rather refreshed...cos retail therapy is good!!
Ok lets start from the beginning.... went to play badminton in the morn.....and lost ALL my matches.....so sad....quite sian la. Today was really off form! Kept smashing into the net. Rather pathetic. Also cos I didn't have the star player as my partner la. But oh well, at least I had some exercise. I think, even if badminton doesn't really do anything for me intellectually at least I'm attempting to burn off some fat!! Mel's really improving tho.....and there was another v gd player who joined us today....Mark's friend....Yi hua or sthg.....and she's like so strong!!
So anyways...after today's trashing....i had sushi at junction 8 with Whanlee and Jiayee to celebrate (belatedly) Whanlee's birthday....had a lovely time with good food and good company.... =) Well, I think Bishan is quite a nice place...it has all the funny small shops with really interesting girly stuff to look at...and buy! (Since btw right now i'm in the damn buying things mood...and the girly girly stuff mood...)
So i bought....
1. A blue pencil case!! (Was actually eyeing this one from "Happy House" which had like very cool designs on it and was huge -- which is what, as Whanlee says "What Arts pple need". But settled for this instead cos twas much cheaper, just as nice and not as loud!)
Then I made it down to P.S for Whale Rider!! (finally caught it!!) Went to watch with Marie , had lotsa fun as usual...cos Marie's just tt kinda person to go out with and be siao...and it was an amazing show! The whole beauty of the show was in the scenery, which made me so wanna go back to New Zealand again! And the beauty of the Maori culture. Their simple lifestyle and the beauty of their artwork and all juz simply amaze me. The story was beautifully crafted, about this girl who was unwanted from birth becos of the whole patriarchal maori culture in chiefs and leadership and she tried her best to prove to her grandfather, thru love and peseverance that she is capable. There is so much love in the story and the kid is juz amazing. Should really try to catch it if u can!
Came out of the movie feeling really touched.....and awed by the gorgeousness of the entire show.....to start shopping somemore!! keke...and I also bought:
2. Colourful earrings!!
3. Some cards
Went into this really interesting shop that has all sorts of funny cards(as in greeting cards) and games. And they had funny signs too! There was this one that said "I love cats, they taste just like chicken"...muahaha and the other one was something like "If a mother's place is in the home, they why am I always in the car??" kekeke....tt sounds so much like my mom...
Yup then afterwards went to meet Weicheng who was rather upset about something...poor boy, I just hope u feel better now ya? Dun think too much abt it....study leh!! And these kinda pple (u know who I'm talking about) are juz not worth it la...no pt feeling upset abt them! But I must say we had quite a gd laugh abt sthg really silly. Basically most of u wld haf heard my "my toes are laughing" line, but for the benefit of those who haven't it really means "it's not funny lor...you're damn corny/lame...and only my toes wld laugh at u...which also equals you're damn sad". And then I realised (Weicheng had foot rot and he was telling me his feet were cracking and it really hurt) that his toes were cracking up too!! muahaha..... (Ok ya, and this is juz one of the things tt were funy only at tt pt of time. Basically if u didn't find that my relating this story was funny, it's ok...cos i hafta explain the joke and tt doesn't make it funny anymore...) Anyway , moving on...
So yeah...pretty much had quite a fruitful day I must say....having some fun, and not having some fun....it won't be long before I'm not so free anymore! So I guess I'd better enjoy it for as long as I can!

Well. Today didn't turn out that well. Am rather disappointed about my course la, first of all cos Mr cutie pie wasn't the least interested in me today...hardly looked at me. Darn. Then, second of all my presentation didn't work. :\ That was rather sad cos I thought twas quite a cool idea, which stemmed mostly from Ivan. But it needed a prop....and although the initial idea was to use one of the guys in class, I didn't quite wanna scare them off... I mean....what if they thot I was like super onz or wat then how? Sure run away from me wan. Well..i guess I cld've asked someone to stand in for me and do me a favour. But I think he was too busy today anyway... ;p Some pple's love life going very well and all....
But, as it turns out, cos I didn't haf my prop it didn't really work out. Cos they didn't get wat i was trying to do at first. But oh nevermind.
Had quite a nice day though...ate sushi and all.....and tmw will be better cos I'm gonna play badminton again!! Whoopie! Then can vent all my frustration out on the court! Jiayee's coming too! And we'll have so much fun! =)

AIYA!!!!
Marie cannot make it tmw. =( So looks like I won't get to watch my movie liao...cos no one else wants to watch it wif me!!
Shane was juz complaining on his blog tt Jiayee and I very elitist in playing badminton. And he juz suaned me on being loser cos my love life is zilch. hmmph! And even tho it's true......still a great blow to my ego. aaaaarghhh......watever la....I think it's juz a phase...perhaps things will get better when my hair grows, or when i begin to get used to the fact tt I can Live alone and like it. heh.

Whoops...a bit of a boo boo there...posted the same thing twice

Been spending lotsa time outside, basically on entertainment....and my mom has been complaining man. But heck la, after these few weeks I'll be so busy with school work, as I am resolved to try and push my CAP up....even if I don't manage to do hons. But anyway, wanted to say that I went to watch Alex & Emma with Marie on thurs night..and tis quite an interesting movie...altho not the conventional love story type. They had quite a bit of witty stuff in it but only Marie and I were giggling away....dunno..maybe there weren't enuff pple in the cinema and maybe the couples were busy with sthg else....but I always find tt Marie and I will end up laughing away at stuff tt pple hardly find funny. Heh. Either tt they're juz slow la. ;p
Then we went to pregos for Tiramisu! Yumm.....had such a great time tt night! Tis always nice to spend time with Marie cos she's such a loveable girl! We always end up giggling abt sthg or other....come to think of it, it's been more than a yr since we met....and spent all tt time together in Canada for World Youth Day and it's amazing how much I've changed, or maybe how things have changed since tt time....no more exciting running off to other countries and meeting pple and flying here and there. I miss it quite a lot tho....altho I hate the long flight hours, it's like my dream to travel. Not tt I'm not enjoying my life here, I suppose Singapore will always be my home in a sense...but perhaps tis the curiousity of wanting to know how life can be like otherwise.
Went to watch "Waterloo Stories" on friday night with Mark Chen..... and thoroughly enjoyed it man!! Jonathan Lim is soooo amazing! It's like 2 plays back to back, and the first play was called Treading Water starring Amy Cheng and this other girl. It was fanstastic man. Altho there were some parts which were a little abstract and spooky but overall the performance was beautiful. Jonathan Lim's one called People say got ghost was really amazing too. He's such a talented actor and playwright and never fails to amaze me. There was so much irony in the dialogue and becos we were sitting really near the stage it was literally in your face kinda thing. Strongly recommend u all to go watch! Esp if u understand hokkien and mandarin cos there were quite a few parts in chinese which I found a little difficult to catch...the hokkien parts were funny tho and yet it added to the general atmosphere of the epookieness of temples and ghosts and all la. Interested parties can get tix thru me! =)
Am gonna watch Whale Rider with Marie tmw cos it's her birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MARIE!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUUU!!

Well, basically am a little too tired to type out everything tt i'm thinking of typing out now. So what I shall do is to shamelessly copy and paste a recent psychoanalisation (is there such a word?) of my long hair and short hair thing that Shane did (and put on his blog) after we discussed it over prata at Simpang. (Sorry babe but if u wld rather I remove the entire thing lemme know...)
Rather interesting I must say, the analysing that he came up with:
" We also discussed how her hair, short or long, is directly related to her bitchy tendencies and her (in)ability to find a boyfriend. The following possibilities seem relatively true based on past experiences in her lovelife:
(1) when she has long hair, guys go out with her and think she is cute.
(2) When she is about to break up with a guy, she cuts it short.
(3) When she is single, she has short hair. And when her hair remains short she remains single until such a time when her hair grows out.
(4) She is bitchier when her hair is short.
(5) She seems less approachable when her hair is short cos she looks snarkier and is snarkier too.
(6) Only Tongkat Ali prefers her in short hair (enough said! Hahahaha)
Plus, her experience with The One has left her even more bitchy and snarky. "

Amazing don't u think? The things he comes up with? Or the way he managed to sort things out? I guess it is pretty true in a sense...and it's happened like twice already altho there's somesort of more logic behind no. 2... and it's more like i start feeling v sian and then subconsciously know tt my r/s is not gonna work out tts y i cut my hair and eventually the end is break up. But anyways... I was also wondering whether it's better for me this way cos then I have one less thing to occupy my mind...when there are already so many thousand things to do. Hopefully...really really hopefully I'll be able to concentrate more on my studies then.
Another interesting thought today, as contributed by Ivan :
One of the greatest incentives to work hard and get a real good paying job is the fact tt u can then choose to eat anything u'd like, from the lovely restaurants all over the world.
I really never thought of it tt way. As in, this gives me a really specific incentive and I realise how important food is to me....i mean, the bulk of my pocket money goes to food. Almost everything does....and it's so impt to be able to eat good food! A good meal leaves one really really satisfied and happy! Even if ur boss is a moron u'll still feel happy after lunch! =)
In other news, had a really good game of badminton yesterday...tues..wif Jiayee (our star player) as my doubles partner!!! We beat the 2 guys man!(Ivan and Mark) It was a really satisfying game cos they put up a gd fight, and I suppose also for the longest time ever, I was rather clear about our strategy, we played "square" (badminton players will understand this) and usually I'm the blurest of the blurest cos I always forget to get back into position thus making my poor partner cover for me everywhere. But amazingly on tues I was crystal clear and everything felt so right. I guess cos my strokes were not v gd and my fitness levels aren't tt fantastic either.....so we did make some mistakes but it juz felt so good! *grin grin grin*
Anyways, juz wanted to share some interesting quotes tt my instructor (Jonathan Lim)in the musical theatre course sent us....and he's put his comments after tt....rather funny too I think...so juz haf a little laugh! =)
" We experience moments absolutely free from worry. These brief respites are called panic." -Cullen Hightower
comments : i lurve this quote. What, me worry? No no, panic for me!
"Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyways." - Groucho Marx
comments : Or as Lisa Loeb puts it in her song "Miss You", everyone is "dyin' since the day they were born."
" It is not true that life is one damn thing after another - it's one damn thing over and over. " - Edna St. Vincent Millay
comments : and over and over and over till it's over
Funny right?? hehe...well, he's acting in a few shows these weeks and there's one tt I'm gonna catch called Waterloo stories at waterloo street.(duh) The one tt he's starring in is called "People Say Got Ghost" go check it out if ur interested! I'll be goin this fri...tickets are sold at ticketcharge! I'm kinda advertising for him cos I think he's like really really good! And it's sooo entertaining for him to lecture us in sch....do catch it if u haf the chance! =)

Had a relatively good day today!! COS HAD A SHORT CONVERSATION WITH THE CUTIE IN MY CLASS!Woohoo! PLUS, the instructor and all liked the way my song went...and it went exactly the way I wanted it to! Was absolutely elated for the first time after I walked out of class today!!
Well, actually in other news there's lotsa stuff to bitch about. But I think it'll go away. Hopefully.
Think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts!!
Here's the song I sang for class today
No one is alone - Stephen Sondheim
No one here to guide you
Now you're on your own
Only me beside you
Still you're not alone.
No one is alone
Truly, no one is alone.
Sometimes people leave you
Halfway through the wood.
Others may deceive you,
You decide what's good.
You decide alone,
But no one is alone
People make mistakes,
Fathers, Mothers, people make mistakes
Holding to their own, thinking they're alone
Honor their mistakes,
Everybody makes
One another's terrible mistakes.
Witches can be right, giants can be good,
You decide what's right, you decide what's good.
Just remember
Someone is on your side,
Someone else is not.
While you're seeing your side
Maybe you forgot -
They are not alone,
No one is alone.
Hard to see the light now,
Just don't let it go.
Things will come out right now,
We can make it so.
Someone is on your side,
No one is alone.
There are basically many ways to interpret it la...and I choose to see it as entirely consoling and comforting. Lotsa em in class today had many strong emotions and all tt came out...like anger and all...but I choose not to see it in tt way. Life is sad enuff. We all need a little comfort. =)

I'm obsessed!! (now darn, how do u spell tt?)
Sigh. As I said in my last entry about stumbling upon tt cute guy's webpage. He has a blog too...and he's really funny. Only thing is, I dun dare to comment or make contact lor...cos yesterday, I was supposed to pass him his notes if the other girl didn't manage to get it to him first. So I smsed him... and asked whether he'd got them already. He sent back this really like sian or "Mo4 ming2 qi2 miao4" kinda msg to say tt he'd already gotten it. I think he must've thot i was scary or sthg, like maybe had the hots for him so jumping at every chance to make contact?
*pause* Ok, so maybe tts kinda half true... :\
But I'm really not lidat lor! I mean I juz thot it'd be nice to pass it to him and juz in case the other woman didn't get it to him then I can arrange mah. =( Yar...so I'm like thinking if I do leave comments on his blog or tell him tt i think he's got a nice blog, he's seriously gonna flip lor....and like run like hell away from me?!?!? Oh darn.
This is not good. I mean, it sounds like I'm almost becoming obsessed with this guy....( which I really am not! ) I guess...he just sounds like an interesting character...into music and theatre and all...funny... and he does strike me as cute. I think sometimes it doesn't help tt I've got an outlet to like 'watch' him or learn abt him cos I happened to stumble on his blog... so perhaps it feeds on my instinct to wanna know more about him as a person. (Am I beginning to sound like a stalker??)
Hrm... I suppose if it happened to me, I won't really be tt freaked out la. Unless the guy was really dodgy or sthg... but who am I kidding...this kinda thing doesn't happen to me cos I'm too fierce! And no guy will actually try and be funny with me w/o having the shit scolded out of him. heh.
Oh well. Occupational hazard.....

Been rather busy the past few days, with lotsa things to do. I went for P3 = Play, pray and party at sentosa, kinda enjoyed myself...except for the living conditions....tons of mozzies!! Lotsa booze too...and didn't quite enjoy tt aspect of it....cos we just prayed before tt. :\ Other than tt, I guess I was a little tired from the lack of sleep, and stress over my musical theatre course. Had to rush for class after the chalet.
Hrm, guess I can write more about my course. Although it's getting more and more stressful, as in we're analysing the songs on a much deeper level now, and there are so many things that I should be taking into consideration while performing those songs which I keep missing out! The rest of the class is like really talented....so i'm kinda stressed. I guess I put a lot of pressure on myself to try and perform well. Plus the class is so small so u can't really go unnoticed. The second lesson we had to do our own interpretation on a song and present it alone. I felt so nervous man....
But things have taken a good turn, cos we were paired up with a partner and given songs to analyse together. So its not so pressurising anymore...and in fact taking a turn for the better so I'm really beginning to enjoy myself. =) My partner's name is Dwyane and he's a rather experienced actor, who has quite a nice voice and is really very pleasant. Just realised today after KTV tt he reminds me of Jay Chou...in a cute kinda way. Haha....but if any of u are wondering, he's not the cute guy i wrote about in my previous blog. Unfortunately I didn't get paired up wif him. ;p heh. Anyway, the past few times i managed to practice the songs wif Dwayne i had so much fun....perhaps cos the pressure wasn't there anymore...cos we were like in this together...and we had some silly ideas here and there. Some of the songs were rather silly....or shld i say cute la. Cos love songs mah...so I also paiseh a bit. I'm not much of an actress so it's rather weird having to act out stuff. But I enjoy the experience tt i'm getting frm this and I'm very glad tt i have a chance to learn. =)
Then last friday had so much fun at the Bar & Billiard Room at Raffles Hotel cos twas ladies nite and housepours were free. Twas soooo crowded man, but went wif Bern, Mark, Ivan, Shane, Mel, Pearl, and Marie and frens....and we had a nice time chatting and just hanging. For the first time I had too much alcohol in one night. I think 3 drinks is my max. Tsk tsk....had tt awful floaty feeling which is, as pple tell me a feeling of being "high". I dun for one understand why it's called feeling high cos it doesn't feel good at all. I was so worried I was gonna puke or fall down or do sthg stupid cos I cldn't really focus. So yeah. I DON'T get high from alcohol. I do get emotional highs frm the pple I hang around or frm activities I'm involved in and all la. but mostly from the pple I hang out wif. Sometimes I juz feel sooooo happy around certain pple....so tts a natural high for me! =)
Oh! which reminds me....went out with the famous 5 today! Went for karaoke first, then a lovely dinner at crystal jade (which, i'm repeating for the 1000th time isn't as expensive as u think it is!and it has gd food and relatively good service, or at least the marine parade one does). Then dear Weilin drove Avi, Angel and me to suntec to change the size of Avi's present tt we bought...then down to siglap where we met wif Chonghan the poor boy who was so bogged down with work he really cldn't join us for karaoke, which made him rather upset...but oh well...i promised tt i'd bring him soon. ;p Had a really gd time wif them again, met up for the last time before Avi flies back to Melbourne...
Other things tt happened while typing this post...sthg v irritating...like the administrator's to my course are having difficulties changing the timetable of the course and I feel like an ass cos it's almost like my fault tt they hafta change the dates. Aaarghh... but anyway, i shall not upset myself any further. On better news! I kinda stumbled upon the cute guy's webpage! As well as my partner's! So....a little fascinated for a while...but I MUST STOP! REALLY! Gee...feel a bit psychotic....almost half as psychotic as the pple in the song i'm supposed to learn. I shall not gush or be so obsessed about them........
But they're soooooo cute!!!!!!
Whoops....

Saw beautiful clouds today... while I walked home from the MRT station. It was sunset...and drizzling slightly...really beautiful. Reminded me so much of God's beauty. Was inspired to compose a poem about it...but right now a bit tied up. And someone gave me an idea on sthg to write, cos I watched Twin Effects today...and I still don't get why it's called Twin Effects, and the whole point of the show, but anyway......
Musings on the gorgeousness pros and cons of Edison Chen
To watch or not to watch,
To like or not to like,
To gush or not to gush,
To swoon or not to swoon,
To think or not to think.
I choose, to think.
I guess the answers all lie in the former. There is no question about tt. =) He is gorgeous! He's got that really cute look with dimples and all, and he's got tt kinda proper accent when he speaks english! The ABC type!! Not the cha-chad HK accent!! *swoons again*
Er, I think I kinda digressed. ahem, well, it was supposed to be a proper intellectual discussion, on Edison Chen So, I was just thinking, such guys don't really exist in Singapore...only in Hongkong...and then Ivan said it's only a matter of grooming. Heh. Perhaps la. It isn't really very difficult for guys to look good, I guess they only have to learn how to carry themselves and perhaps put on (yes, mostly put on) a bit of weight, and trim a bit here and there then they'll look pretty ok. Girls are not as picky as guys sometimes for looks. =)
Alrighty...said too much on Edison Chen now....(but now I really know the type I'm attracted to lor...sigh)
In other news, The Iranian twins died. Rather shocking...becos I thought usually this kinda thing would go thru ok. With Singaporean docs and all. But oh well, sometimes these things happen. All we can do is admire their courage and hope. May they rest in peace.

TODAY'S PRAYER
Dear God,
Please please please give me patience.
Amen
I swear I'm gonna end up having high blood pressure by the time I'm 30. Sigh. First it was the 2 "J"s, then now, the 2 "P"s. God help us all.

Am back from my course!! Well. It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. I did go off key once though.....ah, but heck la, cos some of their singing wasn't that fantastic anyway.
Yup, but Stephen Sondheim is quite a genius, in that the songs he writes have so many underlying tones to it. It's like things are not said explicitly, and then the meaning comes through certain tunes or weird dissonances in the melody or the bass. Basically it's almost like a practical criticism of the lyrics, taking into account the musical aspect la.
The first time I heard most of the songs I didn't think they had so many underlying meanings...until we finally analysed it...tore it apart and then realised how sophisticated and rich in meaning they were. Before class started firstly I had to choose one song to present to them juz to let them gauge my voice and to get us all used to performing for each other. Then we had another 2 songs tt we were to properly analyse...as homework.
So I was just showing the scores to Ivan and he laughed and said tt it's funny how apt the songs were...in depicting my past, present and future. The one for my past was Good Thing Going (Merrily we roll along), present: On my own (from Les Miserables, and this was the one I picked as a demo) and future: Live Alone and Like It (from Dick Tracy the movie). Heh. I suppose the last one, Live alone and like it sounds pretty nonchalant and it's a really dancy number, which is supposed to indicate tt the singer is very happy with living alone and all. But after analysing it, it really isn't. It's almost like an excuse for putting urself in a tower and not venturing out into a relationship cos ur scared of getting hurt. But anyway, my task for next week is to sing Good Thing Going I think it'll be rather interesting. Here are the lyrics:
It started out like a song.
We started quiet and low, with no surprise,
And then one morning, I woke to realise
We had a good thing going
It's not that nothing went wrong.
Some angry moments, of course, but just a few,
And only moments, no more, because we knew
We had this Good Thing Going
And if I wanted too much,
Was that such a mistake at the time?
You never wanted enough
All right, tough, I don't make that a crime.
And while it's going along,
We took for granted some love will wear away.
We took for granted a lot and still I say
It could have kept on growing,
Instead of just kept on.
We had a Good Thing Going... going... gone.
The song's like intentionally vague, so it's easy to personalise. The first line starts off with an "It" and to me, that "It" is most likely to be my r/s with Jixuan. Yes, I know...those who are reading it would think, "isn't it time for you to move on??" Yar I suppose it is, i don't think the reason why I'm associating this wif Jix is cos I haven't moved on....I juz think it's pretty apt. But I haven't entirely moved on either la. But it's only a matter of time lor I think. It doesn't hurt tt much anymore, but I guess (irritatingly) that I still miss him sometimes. It's the way things are la...c'mon...i spent like more than a yr tog wif him lor. But oh well, I'm really ok now....it's juz the getting over the last part bit. Heh.
Hrm....I think i'm like the second youngest in the course....cos there's still one guy who's still in NS. But he's doing the slack NS, he's in MDC (for those of u in army shld know)....yar, and he's quite cute! ;p Yar...the my type lor.....small small cute cute looking and all....better now, this guy speaks well, sings well and is damn drama! As in he can act la. But then there is a high likelihood tt he's gay. :\ (bubble bursts...)
Heh. I wonder if I'm seriously beginning to look for someone again...still quite sian on tt. Oh well. =)

Equivocation is when you state something in a confusing or unclear way, especially when the intention is to hide the truth. Hmm. I hope tt works!
My course starts today!! Been trying to practice my singing and ending up losing my voice....cos i'm not singing correctly....aaargh....stressed la. I'm so afraid tt i'll malu myself cos what if all the students there already have lots of theatre experience? I really hope i can cope with this man.
In other news, am back from my personal retreat! Twas a really good time of rest for me. THe place was somewhere in upper bukit timah and very very serene. It's like retreating away from the world...away from it all. =)
Yup...am also gonna play badminton again tmw! Feels like it's gonna be a rather busy week...wonder whether i'll end up exhausted again. But I guess so far the things tt I'll be doing will be rather enjoyable so.... Onward Saints! kekekekeke

Sigh. What's the meaning of Equivocation? Homework for the course tt i'm taking up. Been trying to sing according to the scores tt i juz received today. Feel once again that I have such a lousy voice. Just hope I dun paiseh myself in front of all the other students.
Was thinking of going shopping wif my mom tmw morning. But at the looks of it, the time I'm gonna be sleeping tonight....doesn't seem like I'll be able to wake up.
Met Nicholas for supper just now. Ordered tissue prata and the serving was damn damn big lor. No more prata for 2 weeks man. But twas nice to meet up with an old friend again (who btw is ironically younger than me but looks much older. hrm..ok la, not tt much, juz in case he's reading this ;p) Yar, so anyways, had some good laughs and interesting conversation. Thanks for walking me back home dear!
Gonna meet up with my FOC group tmw for lunch...lets hope they dun decide to eat sthg very expensive. In other news, oh, bought a new notebook today! Looks so cute! From this new shop at citilink called happy house. Recently Precious Thots brought in some of their merchandise and I suppose they've gotten rich enuff to wanna open a shop on their own. They've got all the girly stuff la, all works from bedsheets to bags....only no clothes. But anyways, tis a lovely lovely shop!

Hmm....tis so late but still not sleepy yet...oh dear...gonna be dead tmw man...

Alrighty. Haven't really blogged in a while. Been rather lazy that's why.
Lets see where I left off...yup, went to RELC to check out the Australian unis, some of their courses looked pretty ok, but most of them require work experience cos i was looking at the post grad courses la. Sigh. Worried tt I won't be able to find a job. A friend told me once, that grads like us get so stressed out while looking for a job, in comparison to those who are less educated and we get more stressed when we can't find one cos we have like tens of thousands of dollars to lose in how much we spend on our education while those who are less educated have nothing to lose. Yup... worse if u go overseas. How depressing.....oh well.....
Didn't do very much over the weekend... did have some fun during the CGL meeting, played Taboo and had a good time laughing at them while they played the "Cash Register" activity. But spent Sat night at home... in such a loser way man, cos for the first time when I have no plans on a sat nite, both my parents were not at home and my bros were all out except for the youngest bro. Even my sis was singing in the choir in church! :\
On sunday, went to library@esplanade to check out scores and cds on the broadway hits by Stephen Sonheim cos i'm taking a course on his works. Gonna blow most of my pay on it, but I think it'll be a gd experience. I think the library@esplanade is quite a nice place, although rather intimidating when I'm not feeling particularly into The arts but they have a really good collection of scores so I'm happy. Only thing is u need the premium membership to borrow them home and i suppose I'll subscribe to tt sometime soon. Went to Shane's place after that to watch F1 together with Mel and Mark. Not really my kinda thing, but juz went to hang out anyway. Did enjoy the company and the food though. ;p
Then went to play badminton yest, for almost 3 hrs... twas quite a gd workout I think! The rushed down to P.S. to watch Finding Nemo....yar....finally caught it. Had quite a gd laugh! Then after tt, Weilin, Avi and I walked down to meet Chonghan at Meridien where we decided to have sushi!! Poor boy Chonghan was on off and originally supposed to join us for the movie but ended up going back to camp for a meeting! Well dear, as we told u...we'd happily watch it with u if u'd like to sponsor our tix! =) Had such a good time with them.....had dessert at Piazza at The atrium@orchard, finally sat on one of those round seat thingies! Quite nice...where we kept taking photos and even shot a very short film...but twas really fun! Weilin! Hurry upload the photos!! Well, looking forward to our next meeting! Karaoke it shall be!! hehe.....
Haven't exactly planned the rest of my week yet, but hopefully will be able to drag my mom out shopping with me!
