I rem Avi posting this quote a v v long time ago on her blog.. or old blog. It went sthg like,

"If u like a person, s/he can spill food onto your lap and you will still smile. But if you dislike a person, even the way s/he holds her/his spoon will annoy you."

How true indeed.

And maybe I am biased, but I've never in my entire life met such a sleazebag. Can literally feel my blood boil when I read the msgs he sends me. Sigh. As Freda says, "The world is full of 'em". Guess I've just been lucky so far eh? And hope tt 'luck' continues to stay with me. Buay tahan.

So reflecting on a few dumb incidents relating to this person, I started thinking how... as much as I like to think tt I can be objective, am really quite an emotional person. I can analyse and rationalise... but the feel (pronounced the way a HKer might pronounce it :p) usually overrules all. And then it bloody clouds my judgement. =_=

Not sure how I'm going to be able to be less emo though.. but I suppose, realisation is prob the first step to solving the damn problem! :p

U guys rem this post? Went back to have a look at it and I realised, it's been just over a year since I decided to join the sat morn group for trainings.

A whole year of waking up early on sat mornings and attempting to improve at my game. It was really really difficult at the beginning.. dragging myself outta bed, not staying out too late on fri nights. Ok la, sometimes I still stay out late, then at the most just suffer next morning lor. But just a few mths ago, I realised it wasn't so hard anymore. And I really missed it when training got cancelled etc. Maybe it's also cos Wilson said he could tell I really loved the game.

And I do. I keep wondering what I'd do if I weren't able to play badminton anymore... maybe like when I start having kids/turn 60/have osteoporosis? How would I de-stress/keep fit?? Gahh... that's a rather scary thought :/

I did. Didn't bring home my laptop for the first time in a long while. :)

Prepared relatively well for the night cycling and although it was cut short, I think the length was still ok. At least I still got to eat all i wanted :p and I know when we con't with part 2 I won't be so stressed abt some parts of the route anymore. Cycling on the F1 track was super fun... and (most of) the company was great too. I also got to go on the Helix bridge (finally!!) I'm so glad we went :)

All in all, slept quite a lot, nua-ed, watched my 溏心风暴, went to church, and went for my run. All weekends shld be like tt.. with good company, gd food, gd entertainment, and enough rest. ^_^

Having a bit of a 方大同 craze again these days. After listening more to his other songs. Think his influences are quite ang moh... when compared with Jay Chou. And altho I always thought he was an ABC... turns out he was only born in Hawaii but has lived in China (and HK) since he was 6. So not quite the ABC kind. Or maybe he did study in the U.S. I dunno la. ANYWAY, his music is damn good. Has quite a Soul/Funk kinda feel to it. And he uses quite a lot of guitar. So while I was searching for vids of his songs on youtube, I stumbled upon this one. And the girl's voice is amazing! Quite similar to the girl I heard in the jazz pub while in Korea (which reminds me, I have yet to upload my Korea pics... as usual! :p) Seok Hong!! Was this the singer u were talking about? 超喜欢 leh!!

It's already such a nice song.. and they make it sound so much better! Check out her sigh at 0.39 secs - Very apt!



Then, there's another duet tt I discovered.. and really really like cos of the guitar accompaniment. The tune and lyrics are abit tongue in cheek. The vid itself also has a retro arty feel. 真美美 :) Steven!! Learn this song leh.. then we can K it! :D

Tried to use the version where the lyrics are more obvious.. but the sound quality of this vid not so gd. The guitar part is damn loud tho. haha.
