Lengthy post with lotsa pics coming up!!

Had a rather busy week. Haiya, since when my week has not been bz right? Ever since i made the resolution(or maybe cos my classes all damn small) to do my readings every week and not be so lazy! :/ Hmm...I think today's post will be rather long since haven't blogged in a while.

Yup...I love wednesdays! Cos it's the day when my relaxing for the week begins! Had a lovely day today cos spent most of it at home....and at Shane's place. Had a nice lunch, thanks to his dad and basically a rather idyllic afternoon sorting out photos and lazing....and just spending time with my mom. =)

Had a gd weekend...barely did any work :p Starting frm friday, Shane did the sweetest thing ever by surprising me with a nice Jap dinner and then tickets to "The Trocks"!!! It was really amazing....first cos I was really really surprised and then the show was pretty damn gd! Guys en pointe! Had a really fabulous fabulous night out! Shane has a better description of it on his livejournal la so if u wanna see....it's linked to mine. =) Here's a shot of the food!



Then, on sunday...twas Shane's bro, Jason's b'day! So we had champagne brunch at Hyatt Mezza9 and ate so much I was full until dinner!! Didn't take many photos tho....pity. Oh! They had a chocolate fountain!!! *drool* tt was absolutely sinful!! If I had more time I would've stuffed my face even more...but....(un)fortunately there just wasn't enuff time! :p

Hmm...then a few weekd back, actually celebrated Jo's b'day! Didn't have the time to put the pics up...so here are some random ones that we took during her b'day celebration at the various places tt we stopped to eat and nua! Quite a few...so happy looking! :)

And lastly, this is a poem tt was 'work-in-progress' a few weeks ago....and now it's finally complete! It's not what I feel now la...but something tt was very real at tt time... thought I'd just share it with you all. Heh, i know, might seem totally incongruous to what I've been posting just above this. But oh well, human beings are paradoxical creatures. :p

Perhaps those of you who have had disagreements/fights etc with someone you love very much would be able to relate.

Finally managed to sit down in front of the computer to blog. Am so extremely tired....tis been a tumultous weekend and 2 days cos so many things have happened...some gd some bad.

Mostly not gd la..v v stressful cos of sch wk...presentations and some silly things tt I said/did to make my Pok most upset with me. :/ Think we still need to work on the getting used to each other bit.

So yeah....been having a rollercoaster ride of emotions...and am very very lacking in sleep.

But in other news, my week is nearly over....cos 4 out of 5 of my classes were yesterday and today. Yay...which means I can finally catch up on my sleep and start playing!

Random thoughts...

Tired...but got work to do, thoughts to process and sleep to catch up on.

Yet...I am happy...happily in love =)

Today was quite a gd day....had great company for breakfast - Fred and Shane!

What is it that makes pple miss each other so much? :/

Today was just one of those days..... that made me happy!!

Spent the whole day with my dear today.... doing things that were very constructive.... and also very enjoyable.... feel like bursting with happiness cos....it's just so wonderful, this feeling of being so totally in love, and being loved by someone. =)

Didn't haf class today cos my lecturer was out of town....so didn't hafta go to sch! woohoo! So the 2 of us decided to go play badminton and attempt to start the 'healthy lifestyle' thing so that we can lose some weight and be healthy! haha... so fun! Haven't played badminton in ages... and it felt really gd to be able to sweat it out on the court today. Kinda met this young boy who looked rather familiar...possibly frm church and he actually did a smile thing as if he recognised me. Interesting.

Then after tt we went back to my place for lunch, took a bath and tried to start a bit of studying...but we ended up taking turns to nap cos so tired after the physical exertion.... weather also damn hot...but glad tt we did eventually manage to get some reading done!

And then in the evening we left to go for dinner... had an interesting discussion about feminism on the train...all this intellectual stimulation...good for the brain! (my pok so smart! :) hehe) and went to eat at this restaurant called Records Cafe at Change Alley. They were playing really nice music altho the food was not very fantastic...but it had a nice atmosphere....not too crowded and of cos I had such lovely company. It's quite cool cos you can actually choose the old records for them to play...and it's one of those places u can draw on the mahjong paper they put on the table. So... yeah, my dear managed to write a short poem for me on the spot. So sweet right!!! *grin*

The event after that was watching the play For the Pleasure of Seeing Her Again by Wild Rice starring Neo Swee Lin and Ivan Heng. Twas a rather gd show I must say! Beautiful sets! Quite thought-provoking too and it had a rather unexpected ending. Self-reflexivity in action!! Suddenly feel so excited cos can apply the things I'm learning in class! Hehe....so the acting was really gd too altho some parts a little too draggy/boring. Perhaps as a Singaporean audience I am too used to seeing lotsa things happening on stage and not just the dialogue. Perhaps we expect more action and stuff....tts y not too used to just the usual representation of life on stage.

Then we went for supper at Simpang after that....haven't been doing that in a while and we were just saying that "it's almost the same as before, just better". Having been good friends for such a long time and meeting up for supper ever since... and now that we're together...it's all just so funny and strange and amazing at the same time.

Good things really come to those who wait. O Happy Day! =)

There was a spot of ink that ended up on my finger during class today. Not sure how it got there, but I decided to try to rub it off with my other fingers. And so my fingers are now stained.
